The thirteenth century church of St Peter's is surrounded by ancient yew (Taxus baccata) trees. These trees are said to be 2000 years old. If this is the case they predate Christianity and are an interesting example of a Christian church built on a pre-Christian religious site. Molash, Kent, UK. 10 August 2006
