Marram Grass (Ammophila arenaria) growing on the sand dunes behind the beach at Camber Sands with a blue sky. This grass has long rhizomes that help it spread through and secure the loose sand. There is a large letter E to help holiday makers, none of whom are present, find their way on the beach. Camber, Sussex, UK. 21 August 2006.
