Grass being dried on a stone wall illustrates the need to take full advantage of all fertile land on the rocky Atlantic coast of the Western Isles. The grass is held down by old fishing nets against the Atlantic winds. This nicely illustrates the combination of fishing and agriculture that are the main means of making a living in this area. Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland , UK. 07 October 2005.
