Brood gallery and radiating chamber made under the bark of an elm tree (Ulmus species) by an Elm Bark Beetle and its lava. (genus Scolytus). These beetles carry the fungus Ophiostoma ulmi which causes Dutch Elm Disease. Marden Meadow Nature Reserve, Marden, Kent. UK. 11 June 2006.
